
I like resistance tubing because it is a great way to strengthen virtually every muscle group. It is lightweight, takes up very little space, and is fairly inexpensive. So, if you have limited storage space and/or a limited budget, tubing is perfect for your home gym. It is also perfect to toss in your suitcase when you are traveling.
Tubing works by providing resistance when stretched. When purchasing tubing, you will need to determine what level of resistance is needed for your level of fitness. In general, the lighter in color the tubing, the lesser the resistance. The darker the tubing, or the shorter you make the tubing, the greater the resistance.
