indicator of the amount of body fat for most people. The index is an
inexpensive and easy-to-perform method of screening for weight
categories that may lead to health problems. However, to determine if

For example, scores are typically overestimated for athletes and others with muscular builds, while scores are typically underestimated for the elderly or people who have lost muscle mass.
